Metals Alloyed In House

All our metals are alloyed in house by our expert team to ensure quality. While we work with a wide range of bronze alloys, some of the most commonly used include C86200, C86300, and C86500 Manganese Bronze, C95200, C95300, C95400, C95500, and C95800 SWA Aluminum Bronze and C90300, C90500, C90700, C91100 Tin Bronze. We use a SPECTROLAB metal analyzer in house to ensure all alloys meet the necessary specifications for the job.

The DISA MATCH 20/24 Molding System

The new DISA MATCH 20/24 Molding System is a brand new addition to our facility that allows us to have a higher production capacity than ever before. That means our US-based foundry has the ability to compete with the international giants. This machine is the top-of-the-line when it comes to green-sand matchplate systems thanks to its ability to fill molds even if they have deep pockets without requiring additional equipment. Our DISA MATCH machine additionally comes with an automatic Core Setter, which increases production speed from an average of 10-15 molds per hour to a maximum 145 cored molds per hour. Even with all that speed, the maximum mismatch potential is just 0.2 millimeters.

The Centrally-Controlled Database

To maximize efficiency on valve production, the DISA machine uses a centrally-controlled database or CIM within the machine itself. This database stores a maximum of 30,000 pattern sets alongside information like casting type, pattern parameters, and customer details.

Our Foundry Capabilities

The DISA MATCH machine only supports our efficiency thanks to our expansive array of machines and furnaces that complement it. We have multiple electric furnaces that each have a maximum melting capacity of 2,000 pounds in addition to automated molding lines and cope drag molding lines, which makes casting valves for the oil and gas industry remarkably efficient and precise. While our foundry is capable of producing large valves and components, we can make smaller and more intricate components as well down to pieces that weigh 1lb.
